Coasties Media is an independent publishing company created on the Central Coast by Amy Nelmes Bissett, an internationally published journalist and editor.
Coasties Media is behind Coasties, a bimonthly magazine that covers where to eat, play and support local on the Central Coast. Coastiesmag.com.au is its digital arm. And Coasties Card is an annual membership card that fuels the support local movement by offering Coast locals an exclusive deal in local businesses.
Together, they help drive traffic into 200 local businesses every month.
Our Founder and Editor
Amy Nelmes Bissett is the Founder and Editor of Coasties. She is a journalist, editor and content creator with extensive industry experience.
Her words, covering everything from politics to health and women's interest to tech, has been found in publications all over the world, including Marie Claire, Refinery29, Sydney Morning Herald, Radio New Zealand, The Independent, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and many more.
She’s also written extensive travel articles for Air New Zealand’s Kia Ora magazine, Bound, Fox News , including contributing editor for the Fodor’s Australia travel book.
